By the causeless mercy of Srila Gurudev and the vaishnavas, the editor of this blog will be travelling for 3 months to India, and some other pilgrimage places.
For this reason, the posts in this blog will be made with some delay in some ocassions, so I please ask your pardon for this disturbance, and pray to all of you so I can be able to some day start to make a real service to Sri Guru and the vaishnavas.

Sri Vyasapuja of Srila Guru Maharaj

During last week, devotees from around the globe assembled in the sacred land of Ekachakra mandir in Chile, to celebrate the 54º vyasapuja anniversary of Srila Bhakti Aloka Paramadvaiti Swami, best known as Srila Guru Maharaj by his beloved disciples.
There were hundreds of devotees and friends, a very happy environment with the presence of our acaryas, so many sannyasis and pure devotees of the Lord.
Many artistic events took place, along with huges fests of prasadam distribution, maha-kirtans and some very special news in our spiritual family.
Let´s discover some of all these matchless gifts, trough this brief report...

After their arrival on thursday 11th to Chile, on friday 12th the Vyasapuja ceremony took place.

Before receiving the puja by his disciples, Srila Guru Maharaja worshipped the lotus feet of his beloved godbrother, Srila Atulananda Acarya, one of the most intense moments of the event.

The ceremony was just about to start...

Two eternal friends embrace each other: Srila Guru Maharaj & Srila Atulananda Acarya, exchanging trascendental mellows.

Many devotees passed to wash and worship the lotus feet of Srila Gurudeva. Here we see Bhaktivedanta Ashram Maharaj, from Chile.

Meanwhile, different artistic numbers were performing their offerings for Srila Gurudev.

Here we see Bhaktivedanta Damodar Maharaj, who organized mostly the different details of the Vyasapuja festival, with his salsa group "Ahimsa".

Till the night, the different vaishnavas performed their sweet art: here we see the famous theatre group of the devotees from La Serena, Chile. The pay was called "Teledelirium".

There was also a clown performance by Balaram prabhu and his associates.

We could hear also a very nice rock band, making a tribute to George Harrison.

A group of matajis from Chile Yatra, made a unique presentation of Indian classical dance.

Here Bhaktivedanta Narayan Maharaj, leading a heavy kirtan with the enthusiastic bhaktas.

And of course, the matajis also made their mridangas be heard along Ekachakra Mandir, glorifying the Supreme Lord...

Various little shops were arranged by the different SEVAS from around the world, so each devotee could have the chance of getting new preaching material for their yatra.

On Sunday, BV Narayan Maharaj realized the agni hotra yajña, for the purification and auspicious invocations during the important moment of initiation, and the different trascendental compromises the devotees took that day.

Srila Guru Maharaj and Gurudeva Atulananda, initiated almost 50 devotees, gave vanaprastha to one devotee, and celebrated 4 vedic marriages. But that was not all...

One of the most awaited moments of the festivals arrived: Sat Prem prabhu, who served in Ekachakra Mandir for several years, and now is in charge of the programme in Sao Paulo, accepted the renounced order of life, sannyasa, and now is known as Bhaktivedanta Mangala Maharaj.

Here we see Maharaj, making madhukari (begging for different donations, as an offering to be delivered unto Srila Gurudeva), one of the typical moments after accepting the sannyasa order.

Great Preaching Festival in Uruguay Yatra

On September 30th, it was realized in "Eden Town" the "day of light and peace", where the devotees of the city of Maldonado were invited: a very beautiful place for the distribution of prasadam, cd´s, dvd´s, books, and where the sound of the maha mantra surrounded the atmosphere with intense spirituality.

Ratha Yatra 2007

Like every single year, the devotees in Colombia Yatra organized a new and big Ratha yatra Festival, with the presence of Srila Guru Maharaj and Srila Atulananda Acarya, many sannyasis and vaishnavas of out VRINDA family.
