Vyasapuja 2008 of Srila Atulananda Acarya

The previous day of Sri Gaura Purnima, the devotees around the world and very specially in Chile Yatra, celebrated the 56th abhirbhava mahotsava of Srila Atulananda Acarya in Ekachakra Dham, Catemu, Chile.
Here a brief report.

2008 European Vaishnava Mela

This last week, the devotees in Germany (www.berlintempel.blogspot.com) organized another new meeting for all the sadhus in Europe and nearby.
In the company of Srila Gurudeva and hundreds of Vaishnavas, and celebrating the auspicious appearence of Sriman Mahaprabhu, we invite you to drink some drops of this inmortal nectar...

Passing away of Sripad Bhaktivedanta Tirtha Maharaj

Our dear Godbrother and siksa guru Sripad Bhaktivedanta Tirtha Maharaj from Colombia, had yesterday left this world, on the auspicious occasion of Sri Ekadasi. Maharaj was previously a member of the Colombian guerrilla, and he met the vaishnavas in jail, and he started to study the Gaudiya literature, going deeper and deeper in his interest.

Finally, by Krsnaá arrangement, he was put out of jail and took initiation of Srila Guru Maharaj, and after some time he took the renounced order of life and became a great and strong preacher, very inspiring for all the devotees who knew him.

We pray to him that we may be able to follow in his footsteps, and thus serve our Gurudeva´s desires with all our vital force until the last minute in this world, as it was his perfect example.

Ratha Yatra in La Serena Mandir

For the third consecutive year this great festival was organizaed in Vicuña, located in the famous Valley of Elqui. The first day a big cultural festival took place in the Imlitala Ecotruly, in Diaguitas, and the following day, the big Rasa Yatra feast took place in the city of Vicuña. Here a brief report.

The first day, many cultural events took place there. Here, the vaishnavas realizing melodious bhajans.

There was also Classical Indian Dance.

Sripad Bhaktivedanta Damodar Maharaj, one of the main inspiring and organizing vaishnavas in this festival, and in all VRINDA family actually, saying some enlightening words for the audience.

On the second day, the Ratha Yatra began, accompanied by different artistic presentations.

Their Lordships, Sri Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva & Subhadrajee giving Their gracious darsan.

Hundreds and thousands of people were benefited by the contact with the vaishnava sadhus.

Intense preaching in Sweden Yatra

Yesterday and the day before, the The Nimai Gang served sanctified food and promoted the Yoga Inbound-tours & other activities, at a "feel good"-convention in the center of Gothenburg.

The devotees of Nimai say:

"It was pretty ecstatic to be practically engaged from the moment of waking up until the moment of putting your head on the pillow at night. We got very nice help from Prem, Robin and Karolina."

New VRINDA Mayapur Temple

After some months of waiting, finally VRINDA could get its new Mayapur temple.
Here we send you a very recent report with the last pictures of Srila Guru Maharaj and Janhavi Kunja, his new trascendental project in the holy dham.

Some beautiful impressions from the holy dham and his devotees.

This is the entrance. Janavi Kunja is very near to Gopinath Gaudiya Math, from Srila B.P. Puri Gosvami.

A small temple for Their Lordships to be worshipped outside.

Also a beautiful lake is included. Its from Ganga water and very pure.

As you can see Sri Gangamayi is directly attached to our new land.

Like Vrinda Kunja. Full of mango trees, Coconut and Banana trees.

Very sweet architecture, like everywhere in Mayapur.

This is the big house with 3 floors, located directly behind the entrance.

Devotees visit the new place.

Here we see Guru Maharaj with Sati d.d. She gave the land to Gurudeva and took second initiation also on that day.
