Farewell to Prabhu Radheya

Here we want to share the words sent by our Guru Maharaj, due to the departure of Raheya prabhu:


Radheya has had the good fortune to leave the body on his childhood with the enthusiasm of a devotee. There’s nothing more secure to the spiritual world.

A beautiful child was born and had the chance to have a relationship with Krishna since birth. This is how Radheya’s life has been, the sweet child of his mother Bhakti devi dasi, who also had Svetadvipa das as her protector. A very simple life. He was Santa Marta Visnupriya’s Ashram star.

Radheya had always been a tolerant, kind and natural devotee; I’m delighted for having met him. He acted as Prahlad Maharaj on a play at Varsana few days ago. Our dear Lord Krishna wanted to take him at once.

No more birth on this miserable world of disappointments. No more enviousness and desires to enjoy what’s not ours. He could get out of here as an innocent devotee that had not offended anyone.

Forgive me but I feel enviousness for Radheya, although the world offers us many opportunities to serve, but also disappointments made by grownups and their inability for following their own ideals. Anyway, one must be grateful for everything one has and not complain, not even when such a beautiful soul as Radheya leaves this world. He taught us that death is always waiting around the corner and that we must sustain ourselves without waiting for anybody, just serving as best we can.

Radheya went back to Sri Krishna, he was freed from this world’s ties. His sweetness and the bitterness of not having him with us, will stay for ever in our memories.

Also remembering Madhusudhan Prabhu, Tirtha Maharaj and Srila Harijan Maharaj, who taught us that we are always vulnerable and should not feel safe on the world of maya, where one believes that is better to be alone than with the devotees. Radheya had not had the chance to be in maya, how fortunate.

I say goodbye to Radheya with a big hug from the heart on his little body which remind us about the great vaishnava philosophy: that we are not the body, but eternal souls. So actually, no one was lost.
